A decentralized crypto exchange that was founded in the U.S. in 2013. One of the major crypto exchanges worldwide, it was acquired by Circle in 2018, and a year later, the exchange was spun out. The new company Polo Digital Assets, Ltd. does not cater to U.S. citizens, and all U.S. customers had to withdraw their assets by the end of that year. See
