A function in Outlook that lets users delete an email message that they have sent and which has been received by the recipient. A Microsoft Exchange server or a recall-compliant mail server must be used in the recipient company in order to effect the recall. Contrast with
undo send, which is a feature that prevents the message from reaching the recipient. See
