Definition: OmniTRACS

A fleet management system from Qualcomm. Introduced in the late 1980s, it includes two-way mobile communications hardware, fleet management software and satellite tracking through its San Diego-based network management center. OmniTRACS is available for the iSeries (AS/400), Windows servers or as a Web-hosted operation.
