Definition: Office Live


Earlier Web-based services for small businesses from Microsoft. Launched in 2006 and available in free and paid versions, Office Live Small Business provided a company with an Internet domain name, website hosting and ad creation. The paid versions offered tools for organizing contacts and managing projects. Office Live Small Business was superseded by Office 365, which was later renamed (see Microsoft 365).

Office Live Workspace
Launched in 2007, Office Live Workspace provided online storage and collaboration for Office desktop applications. It was superseded by SkyDrive (see OneDrive).
