An AI image generator from research lab Midjourney, Inc. Founded in 2022 in San Francisco, California, Midjourney initially relied on Discord, but offered a Web-based platform in 2024. Initially offering both free and paid subscriptions, the free option was later dropped. Users have options based on how many GPU hours are used. Fast and Turbo modes generate images quickly but use up allocated hours, whereas Relax Mode does not use up GPU time.
