Definition: MacDraw Pro

An earlier Mac drawing program marketed by Apple's Claris subsidiary in the 1990s. MacDraw Pro was an upgrade to the original MacDraw that eventually became known as ClarisDraw. The vector-based application included zooming capability and color support and was especially prized for producing technical diagrams and elementary CAD work. MacDraw files were a subset of the Claris CAD file format. See Claris.
