Definition: Mac Studio

Apple's newest Mac workstation. Introduced in 2022 with Apple's M1 chip, the Studio became Apple's flagship desktop computer, which can support up to four Apple XDR Pro Display monitors. The first Studio was more powerful than the last Intel-based Mac Pro, which was twice the price comparably equipped (see Mac Pro).

In 2026, the M5 Max and M5 Ultra models of the Studio continue to raise the performance level of these high-end workstations. See Intel Mac and Apple M series.
