An email system from MCI that was introduced in 1983. In 1989, MCI Mail was added to the National Science Foundation network, which made MCI the first company to connect email to the Internet. Although it ended in 1994, MCI Mail influenced subsequent email offerings from Yahoo!, Google and Microsoft. See
