The instant messaging client for Lync Server, which was a unified enterprise communications system from Microsoft. Lync included messaging (IM), voice over IP (VoIP) and Web conferencing. Previously Windows Messenger and then Microsoft Office Communicator (MOC), the Microsoft Lync system was replaced with Microsoft Teams. See
