Definition: Lotus SmartSuite

An earlier suite of applications for Windows from IBM Lotus that included the 1-2-3 spreadsheet, Word Pro word processor, Freelance Graphics, Approach database and Organizer PIM. Also included was a common toolbar for launching the applications and selecting predefined macros for tighter integration between the applications. Lotus Organizer and 1-2-3 were also available as stand-alone products; however, the SmartSuite was discontinued in 2013.
