An iPhone camera feature starting with the iPhone 6s that records three seconds of video in the MOV format along with a still JPEG photo. The audio is also recorded. The photo is taken in the middle of the video after 1.5 seconds.
Loop, Bounce and Long Exposure
Introduced in 2015, two years later, additional effects were added in the Photos gallery app. Loop plays the video and keeps repeating. Bounce plays forward and then backward, while Long Exposure combines all frames into one. See
