Definition: Layer 2 bridge

An interface directly between two Layer 2 blockchains. Without a bridge, tokens are typically moved from the first Layer 2 chain to Ethereum and then from Ethereum to the second Layer 2 chain. See Layer 2 blockchain and crypto glossary.
