Definition: KaiOS
A Linux mobile phone OS with a fixed set of functions from Hong Kong-based KaiOS Technologies. Introduced in 2017, KaiOS is a 4G cellphone version of the Firefox OS. Supported by more than two dozen phone vendors, some of which make a KaiOS app store available to their users. Devices are extremely inexpensive compared to high-end iPhones and Androids.
