Ireland's first cryptocurrency. Launched in 2014, IrishCoin was developed to promote tourism, and it is used as a discount token in various retail outlets in the country. IRL is the IrishCoin symbol. In 2018, the Crypto Cafe opened in Dublin and accepted IrishCoin along with Euros for coffee and cakes. See
