Household products such as refrigerators, washing machines, security cameras, door bells, door locks, light bulbs and thermostats that are computer based and connected to the Internet via the home's Wi-Fi or Ethernet network. Online access allows alerts to be sent to users' desktops or mobile devices, and it also enables remote control.
