(Interconnect, Passive and Electromechanical) The non-active components in an electronic system. "Interconnects" are plugs and sockets. "Passive" components refer to resistors, capacitors, potentiometers, transformers and inductors. "Electromechanical" covers mechanical relays and switches, as well as fans and power supplies.
