The major European consumer electronics trade show, held annually in Berlin. Celebrating its one hundredth anniversay, the 2024 IFA show drew more than 1,800 exhibitors and 215,000 attendees. IFA describes itself as "The word's largest home & consumer tech event."
IFA began in 1924 as the Internationale FunkAusstellung (International Radio Exhibition). Throughout the mid-20th century, various radios, TVs and tape recorders were highlights of IFA shows. In 2024, AI-enhanced products were widely featured. See
