Definition: Hyperwave Information Server


The original name given to a Hyper-G-based Web server from Hyperwave AG, Westford, MA. Introduced in 1997, Hyperwave Information Server was the first commercial version of the Hyper-G technology. The application, which underlies the entire Hyperwave content management infrastructure, now goes by the name of Hyperwave IS/6. See Hyper-G.
