(X.AI LLC) An artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk in 2023. The xAI website states that the organization's mission is "to understand the true nature of the universe." With all the frenzy over AI in the 21st century, such a company mission statement seems quite befitting an Elon Musk creation. Grok AI
In late 2023, xAI introduced an early access program for its Grok chatbot, which is used to summarize website content, craft stories, do research and answer questions. Grok AI is also integrated with Visual Studio code and Markdown editors. It is available to subscribers of X Premium+, the top paid level in the X social network.
Grok 4 Fast
In 2025, Grok 4 Fast was released, which xAI touts as a game changer. Grok 4 Fast is obviously faster than previous Grok AI models, and developers can adjust how much "deep thinking" Grok should use. The more deep thinking, the slower the reply to the question. Available as iOS and Android apps, Grok 4 Fast can also search the Web and X/Twitter social media. See
