Definition: Galaxy Z Trifold


Samsung's trifold phone/tablet. In January 2026, the company announced its Trifold model with a 6.5" cover screen and 10" display unfolded. Within three months, the Trifold was discontinued due to high production costs.

With up to 1TB of storage available, the Trifold was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which included a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI processing. Its 5,600 mAh battery provided up to 17 hours of video playback. A free 6-month subscription to Google AI Pro for enhanced AI features and 2TB of cloud storage was provided.
