Nction key) The Fn key, used mainly on laptop computers to save space, activates a built in secondary function in any of the F1-F12 keys or scrolling keys (Page Down, Home, End, etc.). Like the Shift key, Fn is held down while the dual-purpose key is pressed. For example, Fn + Up Arrow might switch to Page Up. See
