Starting in 2004, FiOS was the first large deployment of fiber to the premises (FTTP) by a major carrier. FiOS TV offers more than 200 TV channels, including high-definition, and 10,000 titles on demand. FiOS Internet speeds range from 15 to 150 Mbps downstream and 5 to 35 Mbps upstream. FiOS Phone offers unlimited service over the traditional and highly reliable telephone system. See FTTP, optical fiber and triple play.
