An e-commerce website for third-party sellers of a wide variety of merchandise. Founded in 2005, Etsy initially specialized in homemade crafts and vintage items but since branched out to manufactured goods such as home furnishings and household products. In 2012, Etsy expanded into international markets, including France, Germany and Australia. Three years later, the company launched Etsy Manufacturing, which connects sellers with manufacturers. In 2020, there were more than two million sellers and 40 million buyers.
