Definition: EarPods
A type of earbud from Apple that was introduced with the iPhone 5 and iPod models in 2012. The EarPods were designed to fit and sound better than the previous earbuds that came with Apple devices. Along with the iPhone 7 in 2016, Apple introduced the AirPods, its wireless counterpart to the EarPods (see AirPods). See iPhone 5, iPhone 7 and earphones.
