Definition: EVO
(EVOlution) A moniker implying the latest technology. The EVO designation has been used in a variety of products. For example, in the early 2000s, the Compaq Evo was a PC from HP. The EVO Smart Console was a Linux-based video game machine from Envisions in the late 2000s. See HTC EVO and Intel Evo.
