Method) A comprehensive agile method for software development and other projects, DSDM debuted in 1994 to add structure to rapid application development (RAD). Initially developed for software, DSDM later became a project management method for all kinds of development.
To ensure success, DSDM defines a dozen roles for people, such as executive sponsor, visionary, project manager, team leader, solution tester and facilitator. The four-phase framework of DSDM consists of feasibility and business study, functional model/prototype iteration, design and build iteration and implementation. One of DSDM's core techniques is MoSCoW, which stands for Must have, Should have, Could have and Won't have. See
