SWitching)  An IBM method for integrating and forwarding SNA and LAN traffic over wide area networks (WANs) by encapsulating the data in TCP/IP packets.  DLSw supports the SDLC (SNA) and LLC2 (Token Ring) data link protocols and is generally employed in routers.  Multiprotocol over frame relay (MPOFR) is a later technology designed to move SNA and LAN traffic over frame relay.  See
