Definition: DCIM


(1) (DataCenter Infrastructure Management) The administration of cooling, power and server capacity in a datacenter. DCIM also deals with the employees who keep the facility running.

(2) (Digital Camera IMages) A folder name in a digital camera, smartphone or tablet for storing images taken with the device. Sometimes a "photos" folder points to that location. See user interface.
