A transformer-based AI model from Google's DeepMind that uses less computing power than OpenAI GPT models. Introduced in 2022, Chinchilla followed DeepMind's Gopher development, but uses 70 billion parameters compared to Gopher's 280 billion. Chinchilla was trained on more than a trillion tokens (see
