Definition: CYOD

(Choose Your Own Device) Companies employing a CYOD policy offer their employees a list of approved personal, electronic devices they can use while on company business. In some cases, the organization purchases the equipment and lets users pay for them over time. The CYOD policy is more restrictive than BYOD, which allows any personal device to be used. See BYOD.
