Definition: CLC Dev New and Existing Definitions

To add new definitions and update existing ones, use the following commands. To try them, open a blank XyWrite document. Press F6 for the command line and type new any-name and Enter.

   Keyboard          Purpose

             Add New Term and Date Stamp

   Alt-N     New term (type term name)

   Alt-P     New puntuation reference
              (type alternate spelling)

   Alt-1     Start body text on new line
              (Alt-9 same as Alt-1)

   Alt-2     Start body text on new line
              for 2nd and subsequent definitions
              with the same term name

              Add Date Stamp to Document
               Changes to an Existing Term

              Cursor into Notes field to
               insert date stamp

   Alt-U      UPDATE: big change

   Alt-C      CHANGE: little change

   Alt-R      REFERENCE: minor change
               (new Reference/link to term,
                 typo, etc.)
