(2) (Bootstrap) An open source framework for developing responsive websites. Introduced in 2011, Bootstrap provides fixed and variable-width containers that hold all the page elements. Bootstrap was originally Twitter Blueprint, a framework developed at Twitter. See responsive Web design.
