Definition: Surface Book
An earlier convertible Windows laptop computer from Microsoft. Introduced in 2015, the Surface Book screen detached like a hybrid tablet. However, the screen could also flip over like a convertible laptop. A more powerful graphics processor (GPU) resided in the keyboard, and when attached, made the Surface Book more robust for multimedia editing and similar tasks.
