Definition: AI Safety Summit
An international conference on the safe deployment of AI held in November 2023 at Bletchley Park in the U.K. All 28 countries at the summit, including the U.S., E.U. and China, issued the Bletchley Declaration that calls for international cooperation for the safety of AI in the future. The declaration focuses on the most advanced AI models, the so-called "frontier AI."
Bletchly Park
A large Victorian manor house some 50 miles north of London, Bletchly Park is noted for the location where Nazi codes were broken in World War II (see Enigma).
