A BlackBerry smartphone with a square 4.5" screen that eliminated flipping from portrait to landscape mode to view more horizontal content. Introduced in 2014, the Passport also ran Android apps from the Amazon Appstore. The three-row physical keyboard was augmented with a fourth row of keys and context-sensitive icons at the bottom of the screen. For example, digits, special characters and predictive text appeared on the virtual keyboard.

The Passport's keys were also touch sensitive, and swiping them selected predictive text and deleted words. It also enabled scrolling and cursor positioning. (Image courtesy of BlackBerry.)
