A search engine from Microsoft that not only lists the links that match the query but provides additional data in logical categories. Introduced in 2009 and called a "decision engine" by the company, Bing was developed to deliver more focused results for travel, health and shopping, as well as for finding restaurants and other local services.
Bing and Yahoo!
In July 2009, after 18 months of negotiation between Microsoft and Yahoo!, Bing became the engine to power Yahoo!'s search site, and Yahoo! began handling the ads for both the Bing and Yahoo! sites.
