Definition: BIMI logo

(Brand Indicators for Message Identification logo) An authenticated logo added to an mail message. The BIMI logo ensures recipients that the message came from the entity it purports to be. The logo is an "SVG Tiny 1.2" image (see SVG).

For Gmail and Apple Mail, a verified mark certificate (VMC) is required, and a DNS record must point to the logo (see DNS). Senders must also support strong authentication methods (see DMARC).
