A blueprint for the development and advancement of AI within the United States. Unveiled by the Trump administration in mid-2025, the primary elements of the AI Action Plan are the removal of red tape and regulations for AI datacenter and electricity generation projects, the deployment of open source products and the responsible application of the technology. EU AI Act.
Copyright Issues
The Action Plan sides with the AI companies and not the copyright holders. It claims that companies should be able to use any content available to the public free of charge to train their AI models. The Supreme Court has not weighed in on this issue but leans toward requiring Congress to weigh in. See
