Definition: AR headset


(Augmented Reality headset) A head-worn apparatus that allows wearers to view images superimposed onto the real environment. AR headsets such as Microsoft's HoloLens cover the eyes. Headsets similar to Google Glass, which was the first example of this variety, are like eyeglasses and much less intrusive. Less and More Immersive
