Definition: AOLTV


(America OnLine TV) An earlier Internet TV service from AOL that provided access via a phone line or through the DirecTV satellite from Hughes Electronics. Versions of the AOLTV set-top boxes also included the TiVo technology for digitally recording TV programs. Debuting in 2000, AOLTV was discontinued in 2002. See DVR and MSN TV.
