The purpose of Moltbook is that agents can augment their capabilities by interacting with other AI agents. When one considers the endless supply of AI agents that are available today, it enables a single agent to increase its capacity to do things by an order of magnitude.
"AI Theater"
Although Moltbook has gotten a ton of publicity right away, critics claim it is partially administered by humans and is not entirely robot-to-robot interaction after all. They claim the site was created for "AI theater," and some say it should not be taken seriously. Nevertheless, Moltbook continues to receive a lot of attention.
