AI is increasingly used to debug regular programs written by humans. Because of AI's inherent pattern-recognition capability, it is often able to locate a bug quicker than a human programmer.
As of the mid-2020s, AI is also used to debug AI applications, but human verification is required. However, AI is not great at finding hallucinations and bias in because models are not explicitly programmed. The behavior of a neural network is the result of millions and billions, even trillions, of learned parameters. In any case, AI is not a complete replacement for human talent. At least, not yet.
