Instead of dozens of specialized systems, a smaller number of generalized models are expected to do the work.
Human-Machine Integration
AI convergence is a popular topic with many definitions, even including human-machine integration (see
brain-machine interface). However, the general belief is that AI will integrate into routine activities so thoroughly that there will not be "AI-powered" or "AI-enhanced" notices everywhere just like "on the Internet" is no longer a common statment because almost everything is Internet based. See
