Definition: 3G + Wi-Fi

Devices offering 3G cellular data service as well as Wi-Fi. Apple's iPad and Amazon's Kindle reader were some of the first products with 3G and Wi-Fi, which allows access to the Internet no matter where the user is located. On Wi-Fi-only models, the user must be within the proximity of a Wi-Fi hotspot at home or the office or in venues such as hotels and cafes.
