Network TV) A pioneer Internet TV service and set-top box from Microsoft. Developed in 1996 by WebTV and acquired by Microsoft in 1997, it was rebranded MSN TV in 2001. Originally using an analog modem to deliver the Web and email, MSN TV 2 added broadband capability in 2004. Although the set-top box was dropped years earlier, the service remained until late 2013.
